Fewer health events than Bovikalc.
In a 304-cow on-farm trial, 9% of cows on No B.S. had a postpartum health event — against 22% on Bovikalc and 26% on no bolus at all. Published in the Journal of Dairy Science.

304 Jersey cows, housed together on identical diets, assigned to no bolus, Bovikalc, or No B.S. Health events tracked over 30 days in milk. Vagnoni, Coleman & Lichdi, J. Dairy Sci. 106 (Suppl. 1):447. Serum calcium rose on both boluses; the health-event rate is where No B.S. separated. The full table and the design are in the study.

From the maker's own dry-cow study: a single calcium-chloride source raised serum calcium faster and held it higher over 24 hours than the market-leading bolus. Blood calcium is already low at calving (left). Four cows per group, same pen, same diet.

Study design
- 304 Jersey cows assigned to one of three treatments: Control, Bovikalc, or No B.S.
- Cows housed together throughout, so diets were identical.
- Cows were well-acidified pre-fresh (urine pH 5.5).
- Boluses given at freshening; blood sampled 12–24 hours post-fresh, then a second bolus given.

Within a row, values sharing a superscript letter are not statistically different. Serum calcium did not differ significantly between Bovikalc and No B.S.; the health-event rate did. Herd removal (sold + died) was numerically lower but not statistically separated.

“We used many different brands of calcium boluses, none seemed to work consistently or effectively until switching to NoBS. Now we have a product that we can expect results from.”

Straight answers.
How many boluses, and when?
Two boluses, spaced apart. Give one right after she calves, then a second 12 to 24 hours later, using the No B.S. stainless steel applicator. The first one covers the calcium crash at calving; the second carries her through the day after, which is where a single dose runs out.
What is actually in it?
44 grams of highly absorbable calcium chloride per bolus, coated so it is safe on the cow's throat going down. No fillers, no extras. Made in the U.S.A. That is the whole ingredient conversation.
What does shipping cost, and how fast?
Shipping is free on every order, every time — packs and pallets both. Orders ship directly to your dairy. Pallets move by freight, also free.
Do I have to use your gun?
No. These work with any standard bolus gun you already have. If you want ours, your first bolus order includes one free — it is applied at checkout, you don't need a code — and pallet orders include three.
What are the guarantee terms?
100% money back. If they don't work for your herd, you don't pay. No fine print, no restocking fee, no forms to chase. Email us and we take care of it.
How does pallet and bulk pricing work?
A pallet is 60 packs of 54 — 3,240 boluses — at $14,580, which is $4.50 per bolus instead of $5.00, and it includes 3 free applicator guns. Running 500+ head? Ask us about dairy-direct pricing.
